How we make money
One way, and only one: a flat subscription, monthly or yearly, shown to you before you pay. We never take a percentage of what you save, we never sell your data, and cancelling ByeBill takes two taps.
That last point matters more than it sounds. In this category, several apps are harder to cancel than the subscriptions they help you find. We think an app about unwanted charges has no business being one.
What we do, and what we do not do
We do: find the recurring charges you have forgotten, show every subscription and what it costs per month in one plain list, remind you before a renewal, and give you the exact steps to cancel each service.
We do not cancel subscriptions on your behalf. You press the buttons. This is a deliberate choice: you always know what was cancelled and what was kept, because you did it yourself. If you would rather have someone else make the calls, we say so plainly on our comparison page and point you to the services that do it.
We never ask for a banking password. You can add subscriptions by hand, and any connection you make is one you choose and can undo.
Why we built it. The average household pays for things it stopped using, and the tools meant to fix that are often part of the problem — hidden fees, weekly billing traps, and promises of one-tap cancelling that turn out to be a list of instructions. We decided the honest version of this product was worth building: plain language, one visible price, and no cut of your savings.
